The voice in the beginning is epic. I recommend you to use different samples for your drums, I recognize these ones from Cymatics and there's better ones. The drop is cool but it lacks of more bass layers, it's a bit weak like that. The chopped synth introduced later is loud af, watch out. It reminds me Infected Mushroom. Except this mixing problem, this is really cool, well done. The violin is nice too but a bit dry, try to make it wetter with some reverb. This track really inspires me, I like the melodies and stuff. Nice tempo change, definitely Infected Mushroom at the end lol.
Awesome track, gg mate,

Hey there! Yeah, I recorgnise I don't vary that much in drums usage... I should probably, I will take your words in consider for the next track hehe.
About the violin, I added reverb once, but idk, I liked it better being so dry... for some reason.
And about the bass layering, you may be right, but I don't know how to do that without completely f*ing up my phase :( but I will try to learn!
The melody I decided it had to be that loud. It didn't hit hard enough otherwise.

I'm happy that you compare me to Infercted Mushroom :) they are my first reference for Psytrance.

Thank you so much for your feedback and wow, I'm very glad the track inspires you :)

Lovely regards,

nice

X3LL3N responds:

Yes

The melody is really cool. MIDI music is cool but if you want less cheap instruments consider using more professional soundbanks. BRUHHHH the Windows xp sounds at the end got me XD.
Keep it up,

philRacoIndie responds:

thank you for the comment!

honestly i like more using MIDI to compose stuff
+ i used GS MIDI specifically since that's the default MIDI sounds when you play a MIDI sound on windows!

What's the song name?

The reese is damn loud. The melody is pretty random. I advise you to use better samples for the drums. It lacks of sidechain. You can use risers to make a better buildup. The drop basses are a bit loud and weird, don't hesitate to practice sound design to get better, I think you got potential.
Keep making music, that's important :) and wish you the best,

KosmoMusic responds:

yeah now that i look back on it this track kinda sucks
thanks for the feedback

Vital :DDD best synth. The melodies are really cool. The arp sounds sick, the whole track is really inspiring :0. Your master clips a bit on the drop, you should fix that. The chords are monotonous, some variation in the texture would be cool. The drop melody sounds pretty random, like not easy to remember.
Otherwise that's a great track, well done and keep it up,

Candle responds:

Fair enough! Appreciate the feedback!

The sounds used are a bit cheap and dry. Although the melodies are okay. The drums slap, I just wish I heard the kick better.
IMPORTANT: What software did you use to make this song?

ellocodelacasa responds:

I use Groovepad, a free aplication with free types but if u need to do more types u need to buy, but this is not for pay :)

The kick is really weak, I advise you to use a stronger one. The arp is too muched autopanned, it should have a less important range. It still lacks of structure, but the audio is longer so that's nice.

Triangelo responds:

I will put more time and effort to do something really good

I like the bitcrush feel on everything. It lacks of consistent sub frequencies imo. The progression is on point.

Keep it up,

Sick melodies. Although they are pretty good, you should use even better sound libraries to make it more real (since it's expensive I can understand you keep working like this which is really fine yet). There are some mixing issues (nothing terrible, let me explain): the piano seems to be a little bit too loud, the bass too but you can boost the subs on it to keep the energy. I think the drums could be louder too. I don't have anything else to say, except some elements could be quantized in a better way to keep it well synced, but damn, what a good audio.

Wish you the best,

~ Ahurac

OuterKosmos responds:

Hey there! Thank you for the positive feedback :)
About the mixing in piano and bass, i really wanted them to stand out, so I had to sacrifice some of the drums (but maybe I did oerdo a bit, yeah). And the libraries... yeah, im currently keeping an eye on Kontakt sales, but for now I keep on using some free unes (which, somehow, I like more for this song because they kind of don't sound that realistic).

Overall, i'm very glad you like it. ^^
