The 808 is way too loud, it overwhelms the whole song. The drums are solid tho. What software did you use to do the track?

The kick is pretty cheap, I advise you to find a better one. The progression is on point. On the drop the background chords are way too loud. The sidechain is definitely not wide enough. The lead is too loud, and it's also too dry, you should try delay and reverb. Also it sounds like your master is overcompressed, did you put any form of compressor on it?
Keep on producing,

Nice remake. I wouldn't have make the bass like this, also the piano has a softer velocity, it's important to take it into account. Also your master is clipping, mix down your tracks to avoid this.

The melody is pretty poor but the vibe is nice. Edit: it becomes better to me at 0:35. Why is the sound so quiet? Also it's really repetitive, you should make more variations or make the audio shorter.
Well done,

I used a website called "BeepBox", which is limited since it only lets you use one percussion sound, it's really quiet, and also only gives you 8 measures to use. I want to use my own song in Geometry Dash, so that's why I looped it, because I don't want a 51 second level. Also, do you know what websites I could use to create better music? Scout me.

The kick is a little bit weak. The vocals are barely hearable and there's maybe too much delay on it. You can EQ to make the vocals stand out. Also some autotune on the vocal may be appropriate.

Are you the original composer of this track?

Kingcupcak3 responds:

I think so

Oh my god, a good undiscovered artist :0 it's not common out there. Your style make me think about Fox Stevenson. Your track has some mixing problems tho, the drop sounds overcompressed, did you mix down your tracks? It's important. Too bad the drums are barely hearable.
Despite this your music sounds pretty cool, you deserve my scout :), good luck in the future, never stop making music and have fun on Newgrounds!

Hello! Thanks for being so informative. This is the first time I've ever shared anything publicly outside of friends of course so its nice to hear from other people. I'm still quite new to making music so I'll do my best to work on my mixing in the future! I'm also kinda new to Newgrounds so could you explain what it means to be scouted?

Please don't use FL stock samples, they sound really bad. The melody is pretty cool. it lacks or elements and wetness. Also sidechain your elements for a better sound. Don't ignore usage of bass, it's crucial. Avoid gaps like the one at 4:03, it breaks the rhythm of the song.
Wish you the best,

~ Ahurac

The melody is really nice, what software did you use to make your music?

The drop feels a little bit empty and the bass does not fit really well to the song imo. Also the song lacks of structure. Otherwise, the mix and the melody are pretty great to me.
Keep it up, also I scouted you to the audio portal so you'll get more visibility on Newgrounds,
