I really like the intro. The melody sounds a bit random in the end of the intro theme. The drums sounds like loops, you should use a more powerful kick and snare (even tho the snare is fine for an intro) and I find the hats unrelated and a bit loud. The intro is pretty long without too many variations. It lacks of sidechain. The track feels a bit empty sometimes, a powerful drop would solve that problem by minimizing the other parts. Avoid putting 2 melodies together, that sounds messy. Try to apply the same bus effects on your instruments like reverb, delay so it sounds uniform. Buildups leading to breakdown is a crime dude X).

I hope it helps,

Thank you for your feedback and criticism. I support any score, even if it is small. The main thing is that there should be a detailed criticism, for which I thank you, Ahurac. And now to your advice. Dude, the problem is that sidechain and mixing with mastering is a very difficult topic for me, which I'm trying to master right now. I have prooblems with two ears, they do not hear well. I apologize for the mess with the melodies, I didn't quite understand about the powerful kick and snare, like how much more powerful so that the ears are crushed?! And I repeat, there are no samples in the track, I just did it once and got warning, the track was removed from Newgrounds. Well, this is not a dance or something like that. A powerful drop is not necessary here.

The melody with the piano is nice but a bit repetitive imo. I know I repeat the same things again and again but you really need to get some better drums samples :).

Keep the good work up!

It's difficult for me to put everything together as a whole. I already have a lot of strings and it's difficult to mix them with the piano. Thank you for your feedback!

Same criticism as on your other song, the drums are a bit cheap. I don't really like the synth but the melody played is very cool. Be careful at your master it's dang overcompressed, especially when you got these transition crashes and noises. The arp in the second part hits some wrong notes, I would tweak it up a bit.

Well, it just so happened. I got a huge buzz when creating this track. No matter how bad the rating was, I'm still glad that my tracks began to be criticized. And about 14.500 listens… I just released a track, I go in 2 hours later, and I have 3,000 auditions and in the morning I have accumulated 13,000. I was shocked myself! Honestly, I have no idea what happened and why this track took off so much.

The drums could be more professional, the samples are a bit cheap. The arp is cool but a bit random and very loud. There's too many transition crashes imo and they are very loud. To avoid loudness war I can recommend you to sidechain your instruments to the kick/snare, the sound will be way neater. You can better drums samples at cymatics.fm. Presets are good but I don't recommend you to use stock ones, they will probably suck most of the time. The e-guitar you used in the last part as well is very loud.

Keep it up lad!

X-ManOfficial responds:

This is not samples. And with the volume, well, this is the idea. I wanted some rigidity. It turned out this way. I know, so-so. Although I liked the last half minute.

The chords you wrote are made up of notes that create dissonance, you should fix that. We can't really hear the drums, maybe try to sidechain the synths. The song itself is a bit repetitive, maybe try to make a full structure with intro / buildup / drop / mid-section etc...

Wish you the best,

I understand that, I just don't know how to make songs normally, I'm just starting out and I don't even know the genres. Bye

The voice in the beginning is epic. I recommend you to use different samples for your drums, I recognize these ones from Cymatics and there's better ones. The drop is cool but it lacks of more bass layers, it's a bit weak like that. The chopped synth introduced later is loud af, watch out. It reminds me Infected Mushroom. Except this mixing problem, this is really cool, well done. The violin is nice too but a bit dry, try to make it wetter with some reverb. This track really inspires me, I like the melodies and stuff. Nice tempo change, definitely Infected Mushroom at the end lol.
Awesome track, gg mate,

OuterKosmos responds:

Hey there! Yeah, I recorgnise I don't vary that much in drums usage... I should probably, I will take your words in consider for the next track hehe.
About the violin, I added reverb once, but idk, I liked it better being so dry... for some reason.
And about the bass layering, you may be right, but I don't know how to do that without completely f*ing up my phase :( but I will try to learn!
The melody I decided it had to be that loud. It didn't hit hard enough otherwise.

I'm happy that you compare me to Infercted Mushroom :) they are my first reference for Psytrance.

Thank you so much for your feedback and wow, I'm very glad the track inspires you :)

Lovely regards,

nice

Yes

The melody is really cool. MIDI music is cool but if you want less cheap instruments consider using more professional soundbanks. BRUHHHH the Windows xp sounds at the end got me XD.
Keep it up,

thank you for the comment!

honestly i like more using MIDI to compose stuff
+ i used GS MIDI specifically since that's the default MIDI sounds when you play a MIDI sound on windows!
