The melody sounds really random, but why not.

The ambiance is really enjoyable. The kick is a bit weird. It lacks of more solid sub frequencies, and the background chords are really loud. The low-pass automation at 1:04 is useless in my opinion (it creates some not necessary movement which breaks down the song). Love the percs at 1:16 <3 and also the other orchestral elements after, well done. Sad the song is not longer.

DASTiRL responds:

Thank you for the constructive feedback! Yeah, now that I listen closely, the kick is somewhat lacking in sub. As for 1:04, I low-passed to transition smoothly into the next quieter segment.

The composition sounds a little bit random, not bad tho. All I have to say is that some instruments could be less cheap. Also a little bit of EQ on some instruments like the arp would be cool it doesn't clash with the rest.

Analog-Digital responds:

Thank you for the review! I tried to work with what I have. I've been using MuLabs for the compositions, but do you have other suggestions or tips?

The melody is reall cool, the frequency spectrum appears to be a mess, I mean some frequencies are barely hearable. The sidechain feels really weird, it's too long and not large enough imo. The drums samples are cool. The 808 is really quiet, try distortion on it. 5:58 is pretty long, some parts are a bit repetitive. GarageBand is good to start, but if you enjoy making music, I recommend you to switch to a proper DAW.
Keep it up,

The song is extremely overcompressed. Also the quality of the sound is pretty low, try to export in MP3 320 kbps. The drums are barely hearable, I think all the other elements are too loud. The chords are nice but basic and they lack of coherence sometimes. It lacks of a good predrop. The bass sounds offkey but it might be just me. On the drop the drums are really really quiet. What did you use to make the track?
The idea of the song is great but it could have been exectued better imo,

The song is pretty cool, what did you use to compose it? It pretty well mixed, but it sounds like it lacks of sidechain on your 808 and like if there's a limiter on your master, which breaks down the song. Some parts are a little bit repetitive.

Namnotwastaken responds:

Thanks for the feedback. I used some kinda app that lets you mix parts of song or just make your own beats and make music.

Hey! Are you the original composer of the track? If yes, here is a feedback.
The intro is pretty long, does not mean it is bad but really long, it starts being boring for the listener at some point. The bass is really quiet. Also there's many mixing issues, most of the elements are too loud and the limiter on your master is destroying the song.
Couldn't listen to the entire song, 1 hour is too long for me but I wish you the best,

ParnistukisE852X responds:

It's okay. I respect your opinion.

12 minutes wow. This sounds really emotional, pro and enjoyable. It almost sounds like you reuploaded it but I'm not sure of anything. The quality is a bit low, try better quality exports next time, It would be pleasant for me to hear this with a better quality like at least MP3 320 kbps which the maximum allowed by Newgrounds.
In any case, if you are the original creator of this piece of art, I just have to say well done,

I cannot recognize Stereo Madness. The hi-hats are a bit loud and monotone. The bass sequence sounds really sketchy and dry. The samples used are not coherent most of the time. What software did you use?
