The drums samples are really cheap, you should bet better ones, I can give you advice if you want. The melody is pretty cool.
Nice work,

xkatttt responds:

Thanks for the critique. I'd actually synthesised the drums myself and was going for a more retro-ish lo-fi feel with their sound.

I'd appreciate your advice immensely if you have the time :)

Extremely confusing, but OK.

A bit weird butwhy not. Also it has so much high frequency, I think you did a boost. +1 for the melody but the backing beat is really repetitive.

NestRaiGames responds:

thank you for the feedback!

Nice cover, how did you recorded it? Because the quality of the recording could be better but it's very well executed.

MasterCat5 responds:

First I made the song with walk band and recorded it with a screen recorder, since when I exported the song from walk band it came out with a worse quality, for the same reason I recorded it on video and passed it to mp3

Sounds really cool mate, except the plucky bass is really loud and weirdly pan to the left (but it sounds amazing). The drums samples are fire but I can't really hear the kick.
Well done, really good audio, reminds me of some stealth simulation flash games or some epic 8-bit shoot em up,

MyrtleMist responds:

Ay thanks for the feedback! I was on the fence when it came to the plucky bass but thought I'd go with it anyway because I kinda like loud stuff. I'll try to be more aware and be more careful with my panning aswell! The drums are just basic MIDI drums, Power drumset in particular.

Pretty innovant melody, I'd say. The master is overcomrpessed. I know the track has to be 2006 fashioned but the drums samples are not really good quality. Also is lacks of sidechain.

DoggoPlayzYT responds:

fair enough

The vocal processing is a bit weird but original. Sad the kick is barely hearable. What software did you use to make the track?

ArtemiyVerin responds:

so this my first track for geometry dash and i use ampify music

The melody is basic but really cool. The drums are FL stock samples and I recommend you not to use them, they are pretty trash. Also it lacks of bass.
Keep it up,

XaRif1234 responds:

I added bass but it was pretty quiet lol
also idk what drums to use

I advise you not to use FL Studio stock samples, they are pretty old now. I have nothing wrong with the song being only drums, but it feels a little bit empty to me, a bass would be cool.
Keep it up tho,

~ Ahurac

KCG123 responds:

Thanks for your feedback! Much appreciated.

I like the drums. The melody is pretty repetitive and unrelated (speaking of sound design, it cuts the chiptune vibe).
Although the audio is not that bad, except it's a bit short,
