The ambiance is pretty nice, but the track feel a little bit empty sometimes.

What did you use to make this?

MTFGGAMING responds:

Ok I actually used soundtrap!

The hats are damn loud, also they lack of variation. The structure is a bit random. The drums samples slap but they are a little bit cheap. Also your track clips, don't forget to mixdown your tracks.
Keep it up,

Nice track! The audio is damn quiet, you should normalize it. The track is a little bit repetitive. I love the percs.
Nice job on this one,

Got it. How many decibels increase would you say was enough?

The melodies are damn cool, well done. There's weird ducking effects on some elements. At 0:19 the main elements is far too loud. What software did you use to make the track? The drums slap but there's nothing but a lead on top of that and it lacks of many elements like basses and maybe an ostinato.
It would helps me if you could tell what DAW you're using, thank you,

The chords are cool, it reminds me Minecraft. The drums are cool too, but they're not really loud. Also the white noise every 4 bars is not necessary imo. What software did you use to make the track. The lead in the second part is really dry and maybe it doesn't really fit the vibe of the song.
Keep it up,

The melody and the progression are pretty catchy and cool. The drums are nice too but could be better imo, although I really like the samples used, where did you get them? Maybe the bass is a little bit basic. Sad the song is not longer.

The chords are basic but cool, I recommend you to change the pattern to give them a more unique vibe. It really lacks of sidechain to make your track bump. The kick is barely hearable. The drums samples are very weak and not really loud. I like the melody. Also it lacks of a solid structure, I mean intro / buildup / drop.

Thank you so much for the feedback, I really appreciate it. I'll definitely make my drum samples louder when I do future songs, as well as the song I was making before I read this.
As for lacking structure, I can see what you mean. The drop buildup and the drop itself sound a little muddy structure-wise, and I think that it's because I had too much going into the buildup. In the future, if I ever have that problem again, I'll just do a simple master cutoff transition. I didn't really spend as much time on this song as I do on others (I only spent 4 hours on this one), so that could have been a problem as well.

Once again, thanks for telling me how I can improve. I really appreciate it :D

If you are the original composer of the track, it's pretty cool, well done. The lead is really loud on the drop. Also it lacks of a stronger sidechain. The melody sounds wrong at some points but otherwise it really good and complex. Where did you find the guitar and the vocal in the beginning?

~ Ahurac

Martins0s0 responds:

Hi, thank you for the review. The guitar and the vocal were both recorded by me and a friend with a mic and a real guitar. Then, we just applied a lot of plug-ins and auto tune and stuff. If you want some more details, just continue texting me ;)

The FL stock samples sound really bad, I advise you not to use them. The piano is really dry and the melody sounds really random. It lacks of bass.
If you enjoy making music, I just have to say: go for it. Don't hesitate to buy the full version even if it's really expensive. Otherwise there are free alternatives but FL is worth its price imo.
